Probably one of the most technically difficult projects we have ever delivered – to develop a progressive web application (PWA) with live mapping in an area with limited to no internet or phone access. A progressive web app starts out as mobile focused website which push prompts the user to download it onto their phone where it will work offline as an app. While everything worked accordingly online there were many technical details to overcome especially the amount of detail in the downloaded map tiles. After many trials and tribulations the app is up and running.
