We worked with the City of Cockburn to develop a signage strategy for the rehabilitation of the former Roe 8 Highway extension, now known as the Beeliar Woodlands Walk. This once-controversial project was cancelled by the current state government, with the highway corridor transformed into a bushland park. The park spans a diverse landscape, from the Tuart bushland of the Stock Road escarpment to the wetlands north of Bibra Lake. Following the adoption of the strategy, Wayfound was engaged again to design the physical wayfinding and interpretive signage. The trail is divided into eight distinct environmental sectors, each colour-coded and named to reflect its predominant natural features.
